This is a non-refundable deposit to reserve a half pig from our next harvest, Oct 2018.
We recommend you make your deposits ASAP! We take orders on a first come, first served basis, reservations fill up fast, and we sell out regularly.
After the butcher date, you'll be billed at a rate of $4.95/lb on the hanging weight of your pork minus your pre-paid deposit. Estimate 100#/half hanging weight and a total price of $500/half. This price includes the cut/wrap fees from the butcher. If you choose to have any of your pork made into sausage links or bratwurst, that will add extra to your total bill.
We will contact you in the weeks before the butcher date letting you know it is time to get your cut/wrap instructions organized and communicate them with the butcher.
You'll pay the balance due for your pork, and we'll pick up your meat and deliver it to you via one of our established pickup locations in the Hudson Valley or it can be picked up here at the Farm.

Our pigs live out doors in the sun and the shade. They run, root, wallow, and lounge to their hearts' content. We feed a locally milled grain mixture, they devour the excess from our farm garden during the summer months, and the pigs can eat whatever they turn up in our diverse pastures and woodlands.
